Lovely accommodation

Very comfortable clean room.

Loved the furniture. Breakfast was delicious whilst catering for my dairy allergy. Will stay again. Great value. If going by sat nav drive on 100 yards past where it tells you the hotel is. In the dark this is a helpful tip!

Little gem

I had to work in Plymouth during the National Fireworks Championships, which rendered all accomodation I'd stayed at previously either full or out of budget in and around the town.

So I plumped for Smeaton Farm and I'm very glad I did. It was only about a 20 minute drive in to the Barbican for work too. (Don't forget your £1.50 Tamar Bridge toll if going in to Plymouth though!)

The roads in are quite narrow and typically Cornish, but the farmhouse itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The family are very amenable and welcoming and their breakfast selection is plentiful and very tasty. The only thing I could find any kind of fault with (and this is being very picky, but also the reason I didn't give straight 6's!) was that the biscuits weren't replenished in the 2 days after I ate the ones I checked in to. (Breakfast was good enough to see me through the day to be fair though!)

All in all a delightful place that I wouldn't hesitste to revisit if working down there again and would even consider going as part of a holiday tour of the southwest. (It was that good!)

Hope to see RIchard and Sarah again in the future.
