Great mid-week city break
I've just returned from a 3 night stay at the Marivaux with my wife. This is a good hotel in a great location, just 50m from the main shopping area and a 10-15 min walk from Grand Place. The hotel room was a good size, with a clean and we'll fitted bathroom. Meat Me, the hotel brasserie, provided really good evening meals and the breakfast room had a good variety, with cereals, continental or English breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to this hotel and are happy to recommend it as a good base for visits to Brussels,

Marivaux, Brussels
This was a very satisfactory stay at a central Brussels hotel. Efficient, clean, stylish with pleasant and helpful staff, good facilities. Only ate breakfast there which was perfectly nice - but did not sample restaurant in the evening. I would definitely stay there again

Just about perfect..
This is my third stay at the Marivaux and each time has been a pleasant experience. The rooms have been consistently good, the staff (whilst always changing) are well polite, helpful and well trained. The hotel communal areas and the rooms are always clean and in good condition. I have never experienced problems with noise or security inside the hotel and only once on New Years Eve was a I disturbed by street noise. Highly recommended to both business and leisure travellers.

beautiful stay - bad reviews are silly
myself and my boyfriend came for a weekend, which was a present from myself to him. we were really happy with everything, beautiful hotel, against other reviews i've seen the staff DO speak english & try their very best to help you in every way, the room was large and spacious and very high class. there were fresh towels and fresh dressing gowns & the room service was very good. we were not disturbed at all when trying to sleep - and we stayed over friday & saturday. and after seeing a couple of negative reviews on tripadvisor, i was sliiiightly worried, but as most reviews are very very good i thought it was going to be brilliant - and it was. the reviews about the porn shops are ridiculous- they're down the street and actually facing the plaza!! and there was no noise at night at all - any negative reviews because of either of these are silly in my opinion, if you don't want to encounter these things don't stay in a city centre!! but it was peaceful, quiet, and very good quality for money.
