Adequate
If you're wanting the quaintness of the old inn, be aware that the accommodation block is behind the inn and is a modern block; granted food is served in the inn. For a 3 star hotel, it's ok, nothing special, but it's also down to the surroundings. This was a last minute overnight break just to get out of town.

breakfast
Really would have preferred filter coffee rather than instant. Continental breakfast limited and uninspiring

room much nicer than expected
The room had a huge bed and extras such as a hair dryer iron and ironing board, very pleasantly furbished. The house keeping staff were very friendly. One slight disappointment was a shortage of teas and milk, when asked at 10pm for more supplies, despite telling reception I would wait, was told, no they would be brought to my room. By 11.30pm I gave up waiting and went to bed. They never did materialise.

Attractive, ancient coaching inn with additional annexe for accommodation in a pretty location of historical interest. All the usual facilities that one associates with higher priced multiples. One or two very minor niggles of little consequence ( soap dispenser poorly secured and light bulb that needed replacing ) for this one night stay.

good enough
evening meal lacked a bit of substance. Booking at the Green Man I thought I'd be in an old inn. The accomodation building was just that. Very slightly disappointing but up to standard.
