Perfectly situated to access the main sites in the old town of Istanbul. The service provided by the staff was excellent, especially when sorting out our airport transfer. The moussaka was probably the best i have tasted in turkey, and the views from the roof top terrace are stunning. The rooms although simple have really comfortable beds, so slept well the 2 nights we stayed. Because of its close proximity to other hotels and restaurants don't expect a view from your room. We had to laugh as we opened our curtains to be faced with a concrete wall. Would definitely stay again.

Average
I have travelled a lot, and to be fair, this hotel is average. Far too expensive for the small room and tiny bathroom. The breakfast is not a buffet and very poor. The restaurant joint to the hotel has the rudest staff I have come across and start arguing if you don't eat from there. Baring all this in mind, the room is clean, hotel staff are extremely helpful, and the location is perfect

3 star hotel with 5 star staff
The accommodation was basic, however the friendly helpful, cooperative staff more than made up for it. The location is excellent. The trams are 100 yds away. The Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque are within easy walking distance and there are dozens of good sidewalk resturants/cafes right outside the front door.I would definitely stay there again.

Perfectly fine hotel - Unsatisfactory booking arrangement
The hotel itself was fine, clean and comfortable with a good buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, on arrival for our first night we were told that they didn't have our booking and were fully booked that night. They offered us an alternative that was of such a poor standard we felt unable to stay there and had to find our own accommodation and pay more for our Friday night stay. We were able to stay at Ares for 2 nights which was fine and the hotel staff were perfectly pleasant. Just a word of caution as to the booking system of the hotel.
