Night Before Holiday
The room was good, comfortable and clean.
Unfortunately there is no lift, so not a good place to stay the night before a flight unless you are travelling very light or can get a ground floor room. Hotel appeared to be being used by asylum seekers. It is a disconcerting experience to be preparing to jet off on a holiday when some people with nothing but the clothes on their backs are wandering around. I realise all hotels are grateful of the money this provides, but it has put me off using the option of a night stay before the holiday again. I will probably use the money to pay for a taxi to the airport instead.
A basic but excellent hotel, and exceptional value for money.
Good signposting too, which is important if you are navigating in a strange town while driving.
The room number signage was very misleading, think some of the sign was missing.
Took a while to find room. Breakfast was lovely.
This hotel is central and affordable, just what we needed as stop over before flying to Orlando the next day
Good, clean, comfy bed, everything you need.
Was a bit too warm for my liking, I don't know if heating could have been turned down, I didn't want to disturb my partner so didn't check, but that's the only thing that stopped me sleeping well apart from that everything was fine.
Only a chinese restaurant in house but there were plenty of places to eat right outside.
Double Bed - really?????
The hotel car park was very crowded and we had to wait for a parking space to be able to unload our luggage and get in.
The staff were friendly enough. The whole place was very clean but the room was not much bigger than a cupboard and the double bed may have been a single slightly extended. The most uncomfortable nights sleep (not that I got much with my back pressed against the wall and my feet against the wardrobe at the bottom of the bed) that I have ever had. I had to climb in and out of the bed from the end, I could not have a glass of water next to me as well that was the wall - had to get up to have my cup of tea in the morning rather than have it in bed. I would have been more comfortable in a tent. Won't be repeating the experience!
Old and grotty
The Sussex block which we stayed in was an old,run down building in the carpark.
Not only was the room dated and messy with hairs on the sheets...we had to see listen to the busy car wash that went on til late and started at 7.30am on the Sunday morning!!!,this was happening just outside our windown,we had to have the window open due to the smell and heat of our room. Not a good stay.
Cosy room, clean hotel - overall happy with my stay
The receptionists were helpful and welcoming.
My room was clean and comfortable and met my expectations. The breakfast at £5 was good value, though I felt that the quality could have been improved, especially the sausages which were low in meat content and not very tasty. The young gent who welcomed me at breakfast was polite and took my room number. Then during breakfast a female staff member comes over and asks for my room number again somewhat abruptly .
Customer service at reception was shocking.
Bed was very hard and where the room was situated was noisy!
