Excellent hotel centrally located
Well presented clean and comfortable room and helpful staff made for a great stay. Staff couldn't have been more helpful in resolving internet problems. No food while dining rooms being refurbished but arrangements made with a cafe around the corner-but plenty of other options to eat were available in the vicinity

City break - gaz n Lynz
Overall very pleased, accomodation was excellent very clean and comfortable!
The only downfall I felt was that it wasn't clearly stated that I would have to pay to park at the shopping precinct and the toiletries were not sufficient for two people!!

A fabulous place to stay in central Liverpool
I booked two nights at The Heywood House Hotel and stayed there with my Mum as a treat for her birthday. The plush twin room we were in was delightful (the only real glitch being a very noisy fan which I had to get up during our first night's stay to turn off!), with the heaviest drapes known to (wo)mankind. My Mum is usually awake for 7, but due to the awesomeness of aid curtains, she slept until 8.30 both mornings!
The receptionist who booked us in was very sweet and booked us in early so we could make our lunch reservation. There was even a birthday card in our room (as I had emailed to check it was ok to leave our luggage at the hotel before going for lunch and had mentioned mum's birthday).
The location of HHH is perfect as it is just over the road form Albert Dock & the Pierhead, Liverpool 1 also being only a short stroll away. Little things could be improved upon - hooks for the robes provided in the bathroom being one - but all in all, we had a very positive impression of the hotel and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Liverpool.

The hotel was lovely as was the room; the only negative comment I would have is that the room was dark
