Reviews - The Lodge at Birkby Hall

4Visit England Assessed Bed and Breakfast Ratings explained
Birkby Hall, Birkby Lane, Brighouse, HD6 4JJ
The Lodge @ Birkby Hall is the result of a renovation project of an original 18th century stone built workshop in the grounds of Birkby Hall. Being separate from the main house it offers our guests their own independence to come and go as they please.

With one of the three bedrooms located on the ground floor we are delighted to be able to offer disabled guests facilities that have been awarded the M2 disability award by Quality in Tourism.

It is ideally located for Brighouse (1 mile), Huddersfield (6 miles), Halifax (4 miles) and Bradford (5 miles). Both junction 25 and 26 of the M62 can be reached in 8 minutes

With Leeds, Manchester, York, The Yorkshire Dales and The Peak District National Park all within easy reach The Lodge @ Birkby Hall is an ideal base for both business and recreational visitors looking for quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation in West Yorkshire

An excellent B & B
Having stayed at numerous B & Bs, this one rates in the top 5%. On arrival, we were greeted in a most welcome manner and kindly shown our room and the other facilities. The cleanliness and quality of the room was great and the range of breakfast is brilliant. We have another visit to make in this general area and we will be back for another overnight stay.

Beautiful location and excellent customer service. Apart from our elegantly appointed room, the lounge/breakfast room with views across the moors was an absolute joy. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Too short a stay - must come back
Made to feel really welcome as I came through the automatic gates. Janet and Steven have created a delightful home from home. Spacious room, wonderful bed, big shower and many extra little touches that make you smile. Lounge dining room for use by guests leads onto a balcony with great views of the rolling Yorkshire countryside. Steven makes a hearty cup of coffee to kick-start the morning. Worthy of a much longer stay. I will be back there soon.
