Away from it all break
We had a lovely room with views of the high street & fields with a village church in the distance. The decor of the hotel is a bit dated but very clean and it is not scruffy at all. We didnt have any food during our stay so cannot comment on this. We would certainly stay again with no hesitation if we were in the area again.

Very good location, beautiful views, room very clean and tidy, few minor details need be attended to
Minor details like TV did not work no signal. (not a great concern as did not book hotel to stay in room and watch TV) Radiator valve caps missing so could not adjust (Lucky evenings were not colder.) On the whole a pleasant stay, room very good, food good, staff friendly.

I needed a room to enable me to visit a friend that had recently moved to the area.
Ian the owner was very good at providing an earlier breakfast for my friend that was also staying to enable him to leave on time for a bussiness appointment. Room very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The previous occupant had broken the toilet seat, this was fixed as soon as possible. Excellent breakfast. Hope to stay again very soon.

Hotel Update
The hotel needs updating the eating area is the worst part of the hotel no pic's on any of the walls the table and chairs need replacing it was very cold first thing in the morning.
The room was No2 and was the best room in the hotel which was very small, they advertise it with a flat screen TV which was the smallest one I had ever seen and could not be seen when you was in bed, we had to put it on stool and the stool on a table before we could watch it in bed.
The first day we was there the heating did not come on until 8.30am and if you wanted a shower before breakfast you had not got a dogs change unless you wanted to freeze.
It is rated 2 star and thats all it is worth will not be staying there again.
