Cried as soon as we walked in!
Me and my friend booked a hotel the day before we went so we was not expecting anything fancy for the price and area we stayed in.
We wasn't too bothered what we stayed in as we would never be there just aslong as we felt safe and it was clean. When we arrived the lady was lovely, we was told that we couldn't have the original twin room but was getting a triple room (which was tiny so I can't imagine how small the double would of been). As soon as we opened the door the smelt hit us. All you could smell was strong sewer even with the bathroom door closed. The beds were comfy but stained and made you feel itchy. The view from the hotel was a brick wall. The noise was bad but that was from outside which couldn't be helped however the squeaky doors and slamming doors didn't help us get any sleep. The general cleaning of the hotel wasn't awful just wasn't great. We paid 171 for 2 nights, it's not even worth half that. After complaining they said they would clean and leave us some air fresher however this did not make any difference. The beds were made the next day and they did let did let us check out at 11am instead of the original time of 7am. Lovely people not so lovely hotel.
Hotel room in need of slight repairs/updating, but adequate for the cheap tariff.
We loved it and will be returning.
It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the room was in perfect condition with a secure safe and shower room. Could not have asked for more.
