Top Marks, couldn't fault anything.

Excellent all round, from check on to check out.

Genuinely welcomed by the check in staff and given a warm chocolate cookie, a really nice touch on an awful cold and wet evening. The room was great, very high standard, very clean and very comfortable, no faults. Stayed here whilst attending a function and the food was very good, if this is the standard when catering for well over 100 then how good is it going to be for more private dining; full marks. AND I only paid £66, this was less than local B&B's. Well done and I will definitely stay here again.

We had an overnight stay here but wished we were staying longer.

Staff on reception top class, friendly , efficient & made you feel important. Rooms were beautiful; quality & luxurious. & the shower was amazing. The shower felt like a water massage it was so powerful . Pity we couldn't stay longer & visit the spa.

It wasn't cadbury

Reception was good and friendly Unfortunately they announced no TV and having major internet problems, which is not acceptable at this price on a business trip.

The hotel is close to my client so I will have to return

Not Disapointed

We booked this room to attend wedding, at first we thought it was a bit expensive but we were not disapointed.

The receptionist was very helpful and efficient. The room was wonderful. Very large and spotlessly clean. The big bed was very comfortable placed in front of the large television. My wife and myself were delighted with our stay and intend to return.

Stuck in the nineties

A great stay in the 90's but this hotel hasn't moved with the times.

The rooms are dark, the carpet thin, the furniture tired, the walls grey, the corridors like a submarine (F1 hotel look), the walls paper thin - great fun hearing others conversations though as you walk down the corridor - the room toilet like a public lavatory and the tv tough to work. Breakfast is an extra you have to pay for (we didn't expect to at £114 per night) and internet charge is £10 otherwise no wifi. Most hotels now consider free wifi and breakfast part of the package. On the plus side the staff were really helpful - we got an upgrade from our poky 'deluxe', and Harry on reception was attentive to our needs and could see that we weren't overly happy and tried his best to put things right. The major downside though is the food. It is billed as a Marco Pierre White restuarant but if Marco could see what was being offered he'd go barmy - the very cheapest value supermarket food, quite dreadful. But again, the staff were really helpful and pleasant. So, great staff, shame about the food and the hotel (at the prices they are charging). Someone needs to spend some money and get this place into the modern era.
