Fantastic budget accommodation
I needed somewhere to stay with my boyfriend and brother whilst visiting my sister.
The hotel was perfect for our needs. Very affordable, but it was clean and felt very safe. Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again.
Great accommodation good price and friendly staff
Good location for getting into London and friendly staff.
The hotel provides value for money but the standard of cleanliness is low.
The socket in my room was falling off the wall and the carpet was very dirty. The room smelt and it was not a comfortable experience. To balance the review it is very cheap and the hotel has parking.
Great value for money

Budget stay but not very clean
This is fine for a budget stay but the room and corridors were not very clean and smelled of cigarette smoke.
The communal shower rooms however were clean. I skipped breakfast because I did not like the look of it.
Easy to find, clean well worth the money.
In very happy days stay this hotel I thinks so we will go back in the future ,friendly staff clean room nice garden I just recommended this place
Adequate for what i needed
After booking my room on the 22nd February it took almost 3 weeks for the hotel to get back to me to say they didn't have a bedroom on the same floor as the bathroom (I had requested a room with lift access because I have a disability) but that I could upgrade to an en-suite room for an extra £20.
The bedroom was on the ground floor but the bathrooms were on the 1st floor. I chose not to upgrade as I chose this hotel because I was on a budget. The room cost me £50 so it would add almost 50% of that to upgrade - I would have chosen a different hotel had I know this was the case but as I was travelling in three days time I didn't have the option as the cheaper hotels were all booked. The person talking with me was friendly enough, it was the late notice that annoyed me. My friend had the same issue with bad communication when trying to book a room and she cancelled her booking because of this. The hotel manager was friendly and helpful when we arrived (different person to who I booked with) and the room was adequate. The room had two single beds, a sink and mirrored cabinet, a wardrobe, mini fridge, two simple chairs and a bedside table with a TV on top. The only plugs we could see were an extension cable. The room was a bit tired looking, with the wardrobe being broken on one door but it had a radiator which worked and helped keep the room a nice temperature. The sink was blocked but I didn't get around to mentioning it to the hotel person. There wasn't a working window as it was painted shut but this may have been a safety precaution as it was on the ground floor. There were a few bathrooms on the 1st floor, I stuck to one as the other two were a bit fragrant but the one I used was a good size and the shower was very good, especially in comparison to the rooms. They were decorated in a modern design which helped make them feel clean and welcoming. The stairs up to them felt a bit dangerous as the steps felt slightly small and my able bodied room mate slipped down the bottom few as she said the carpet moved slightly - or it could have been because it was quite a thick pile carpet, i'm not sure. The main problem with the bathroom is that there wasn't anywhere to get dressed really. There were hooks on the back of the door but after showering, the steam made the walls and floor damp so I had to use a towel on the floor to stop my clothes from getting wet. All in all it was ok but I don't think I would look at booking this hotel again because of the access to the bathroom issue. There were also no handrails from the front door down the steps to the car park, which made it a bit difficult for me. The car park was an alright size so it would be helpful for people driving - I don't know how full it gets though. I liked the feel of it being quite homely and this made me feel relaxed and like I was staying over someone's house rather than a hotel.
