The only down side to my room was a noise like a heating boiler which could be heard all through the night. I asked the housekeeper the next morning to come in and listen and she agreed it was coming from the vent in the ceiling outside the bathroom door. She said she would report it. I intended speaking to the receptionist on my way out but they were so busy and I didn't want to stand and queue as I had already paid. Otherwise the room was lovely and the food in the restaurant excellent and the staff are very attentive, at reception, the bar and the restaurant, both evening and breakfast time.

I booked this for my parents as I had stayed here a couple of times before and thought it would be just right for them with the facilities and nearby attractions. It was their wedding anniversary and I put this down under the special comments section when I booked it and I would like to thank the hotel staff for going the extra mile for them, they were thrilled with their room and the chocolates waiting for them and loved the extra touch of receiving an anniversary card from the hotel staff. So thank you for making their stay very special.

Excellent venue
The hotel is in a beautiful setting with a golf course and has so many amenities- pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and spa. The location is ideal for travel in the Nottinghamshire/ Lincolnshire area. The accommodation was excellent- very comfortable room. Pleasant dining area with a wide choice of dishes on the menu, all freshly prepared and served beautifully. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Happy
Great hotel, nice room, food good and nice facilities.
Downsides? Would appreciate a midday checkout to take advantage of the pool. Why is it cheap hotels can manage that? Otherwise happy and would use again -same can not be said of other De Vere hotels, but this is a good one.
