100% would recommend it to a friend
The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly.
When I first entered the hostel, I went to the reception. He greeted me in a friendly manner and even offered me some okonomiyaki and I was also shown around by the receptionist. Therefore, I felt instantly comfortable in this hostel.
After 24hrs of traveling to Japan, I was able to take a warm shower and then I retired to my room. I watched alittle bit of Japanese TV before sleeping on a futon in a traditional tatami room. It felt so very Japanese which was nice. They also had AC in the room so I felt quite comfortable and warm. Unfortunately due to jet-lag I couldn't sleep but I am sure had I actually been able to, it would have been a comfortable sleep. :)
The next day I was also given a free breakfast card for a small restaurant not far from the inn. It was nice and there was no limit to the amount of coffee you could drink. Perhaps, what would was most unique about this hostel was that one could actually rent a dreamcast and play old games. So all in all, I would say that this is a nice play to stay.
Simple yet nice
If you're looking for a no-frills kind of place, this one definitely works.
The prices were very good, and the facilities were everything you need for a low-budget stay. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is very close to a good station with several different train lines.
