Very good hotel,friendly staff.
Stayed here for a trip to Chester race course. The hotel is very clean with a very high standard of rooms and amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However I wasn't too happy with having to pay a £15 early check in. I booked through laterooms and my confirmation email stated the check inwas for 2pm but the hotel said I couldn't check in till 3 meaning we would have missed 3 races.

Brilliant
Everything was perfect except the wait for food. We waited 45 minutes for fish and chips. There was a hen party dining at the same time so I can see why the kitchen staff were busy but fish and chips shouldn't take 45 minutes.

Better than I expected
The hotel was a lot better than I expected and it exceeded my expectations to be honest even though I thought it would be good the spa is superb and the rooms although on the small size are well maintained the reception was great and the people were all very helpful and friendly so I will definitely stay again as this was my first time here.

Hotel far too corporate and not personal in anyway. Itwas like being served by robots. Food for evening meal was tasty but cold. Found chewing gum stuck to lamp shade in bedroom. Previous customers' comment card was left in room. Breakfast was good and staff were a lot more personable offering a very good service. If you are looking for a relaxing time avoid half term breaks as leisure club was full loud misbehaving kids
