The lift starts in reception which is already up a flight of stairs.
The description states that there was a lift to every floor however it didn't mention the flight of stairs to get up to the hotel.
This was a slight problem for us as we have a wheelchair user. Luckily she can could manage the steps and the hotel staff carried the chair up but it was a little inconvenient and meant that she had to rest after managing the stairs. Some disabled guests would not manage this.
The room was good, and well equipped, staff are friendly. We had a disabled shower room but there was a bit of mildew and mould which isn't pleasant to see. The location is excellent though and made up for the other points. We loved being so close to the parks and also so close to the shops.
This was a perfect location for what we wanted to do with our 5 year old, being right opposite Kensington Gardens and an easy walk to the Natural History museum and underground.
It was good value for money and a nice comfy room for 3.
Difficult to find!
The hotel entrance is a doorway between two restaurants with a flight of stairs leading up to the reception desk.
Not immediately obvious to a taxi driver!. Very small room, but clean and perfectly
adequate. Continental breakfast acceptable, but I would prefer a pot of tea, as opposed to a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it, brought to the table. A good location for visiting the Royal Albert Hall or
the museums nearby. Kensington Gardens are across the road. The only real cause for complaint was the constant buzzing sound in the room, which continued
even when everything was switched off. This was accompanied by a continual bleep coming from
the ceiling in the passageway outside the room, which could also be heard in the room. Fortunately, I was so tired that I slept through it all!
Reception was very poor.
We found only a small entrance with no indication whatsoever that reception was on the 1st floor. We assumes that this was the back entrance and went looking for a main entrance. At the very least the notice should say welcome and please come up to 1st floor. The only notice we had was to invite us to ring a bell if we had trouble with our luggage which we did not. The room was comfortable and clean but very small. Breakfast was adequate but I fo not remember reading in my invoice that I was only to be supplied continental breakfast and would have to pay a huge sum for a full English. Consequently I think that value for money was dreadful. I have had a larger room and a better reception for less than half the price. The only reason why I chose it was because it was close to the Royal Albert Hall. It is unlikely that I will choose to vist this hotel again.
Lovely little hotel/bed & breakfast.
Very clean and stylish decore. As expected for area, not a lot of space but well laid out. Staff went over & above to accommodate us, friendly & welcoming. Will stay again
A great little hotel

Well worth a visit
My wife and I found this Hotel Excellent.
The room was very clean and the en suite was spotless. Staff were attentive and helpful and the Hotel is very well placed for the Albert Hall and High St Ken Station. Breakfast was first class and plentiful.
Great London Stay
Great room but a little on the small side. A definite squeeze to get around the bed but lovely and clean with great amenities
