A stay in Richmond
Excellent, small, family run business. The owner could not do enough to help us. In fact she insisted we let ourselves in when she had to go out, and there was no one else around!
The room was very small, but good enough for our needs and was beautifully clean. 100 meteres from a cinema and good restaurant, and right next to the River Swale. Very impressive.

Quick weekends away
The main purpose of the visit was to see my son based at Catterick Camp and visit the town where I was born. This B & B understates itself for several reasons. Closeness to town short walk albeit uphill. The proximity to the old railway station, cinema, restaurant, bakery, brewery and wonderful walks to Easby Abbey for instance. It is also very peaceful down by the riverside. Only fault was the rooms were on the small side as if they had cramped an extra room in for business.
