Central location

The location of the hotel is excellent, convenient for the city centre and not far from the University.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable (and absolutely enormous). There is parking available at the hotel but the number of spaces is limited. Food was not included in the price of our room but there are plenty of excellent places nearby which offer breakfast.

Lovely stay at the Rougemont.

Hotel is located a short walk from Exeter city centre and all its shops.

Lovely staff on the reception desk who were very helpful suggesting where to park. They offered to look after the luggage until it was time to check in too. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy - much larger than the normal double. There were 3 stairs up to the bathroom which may cause problems for some, but we didn't see this as a problem. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a good selection of food. I would definitely recommend a stay!

Dinner at the hotel restaurant

Was spoilt by the fact that we were the only couple in the restaurant , it detracted from a very pleasantly decorated room and the efforts of the waiting staff.

My wife and I had not stayed here before but would choose to stay again.

A stone's through from Central Station and the City Centre. I believe all the rooms have recently been updated with new bathroom suits. Ours was very clean and tidy and looked no more than a few months old.

The Hotel was really nice.

Our welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. checking both in and out was quick and easy. The room was smaller than expected considering we had paid the extra for an up grade. The bar staff where friendly and attentive. The food was of a good quality. We had a very loud radiator when the heating came on at 5am, but the reception staff dealt with the issue very well when informed. Would recommend to any friend travelling to Exeter :)
