A great hotel if wishing to stay near Exeter for work or pleasure.
This hotel is a little way outside Exeter but if you don't mind that then it is worth a look. Comfortable clean room and nicely appointed bathroom. Considering the room rate I paid it would be hard to find fault. While just off the main road rooms have no sound of traffic to disturb you. Food is served in the main building and on the two nights I ate there the food was of a good quality, priced sensibly and served by staff who were efficient and attentive and. Breakfast was also of a good standard and the cooked elements were hot and good value in my opinion. All in all I would recommend this hotel. But you do need a car or be prepared to get a taxi into town.
Perfect Stopover En Route to Cornwall
Last minute decision to make a stopover on way to Cornwall.
Don't be put off with water stained carpet in hallway. Lovely clean and comfortable room, warm and friendly staff and excellent VFM food. Definitely stay here again.
The Exeter Court Hotel is friendly & welcoming place.
I ended up staying unexpectedly and they looked after me last minute.
The food is great, and the breakfast gives you plenty of choice
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
great value hideaway
I booked this hotel for the great deal on B&B am so pleased with the standard of accomodation and the breakfast was very good
We were satisfied with the accommodation at the hotel and thought the breakfast was adequate.
Clean and nice food.
Our first impression was that the hotel looked very attractive and freshly painted but we were dreadfully put off by the awful, stained hall carpet leading to our room no.
44. It made us immediately suspicious of the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. It has made a lasting impression on us which, sadly, means we would not stay there again. Breakfast though, was excellent. Bar lacked atmosphere due perhaps to its use as breakfast room. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming.
I booked because very convenient for the M5.
My room was fine if a little overpriced but I never felt like a welcome guest. I was clearly the receptionists enemy for daring to check in, and a nuisance in the bar and restaurant for wanting to be fed and watered and the food was very disappointing. Maybe I just picked a bad day but I'll not be hurrying back.
It's the second year now we been here, we have a disabled child & this hotel is perfect for a wheelchair it's all on one level.
The only bad thing I could say is a family room could be a bit bigger & the breakfast I had last year was a lot better(more of it). We had a nice evening meal at the bar & nice atmosphere apart what I said about the room & breakfast I would book this place again.
