We were satisfied with the accommodation at the hotel and thought the breakfast was adequate.
Clean and nice food.
Our first impression was that the hotel looked very attractive and freshly painted but we were dreadfully put off by the awful, stained hall carpet leading to our room no.
44. It made us immediately suspicious of the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. It has made a lasting impression on us which, sadly, means we would not stay there again. Breakfast though, was excellent. Bar lacked atmosphere due perhaps to its use as breakfast room. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming.
I booked because very convenient for the M5.
My room was fine if a little overpriced but I never felt like a welcome guest. I was clearly the receptionists enemy for daring to check in, and a nuisance in the bar and restaurant for wanting to be fed and watered and the food was very disappointing. Maybe I just picked a bad day but I'll not be hurrying back.
It's the second year now we been here, we have a disabled child & this hotel is perfect for a wheelchair it's all on one level.
The only bad thing I could say is a family room could be a bit bigger & the breakfast I had last year was a lot better(more of it). We had a nice evening meal at the bar & nice atmosphere apart what I said about the room & breakfast I would book this place again.
value for money hotel
Clean, friendly staff and convenient location.
A value for money hotel which I would use again.
Exeter Court Hotel
Stopover on way to cornwall
I must have gone by this hotel hundreds of times, but this was my first visit.
From making the booking to leaving , everything was excellent, and I am likely to use it again. The correspondence with the hotel on a suspected loss of my keys was very helpful and prompt. The experience was enhanced by the beautiful sunny weather, and an evening drive to Teignmouth was beautiful too.
