Cosy hotel very close to Leidseplein in a cul de sac right by Vondel Parc. Good varied breakfast with a variety of cheese, jam etc as well as cereals and juices up until the end of breakfast time.
The room was right on top (which made it boiling due to the hot weather) and especially the bathroom was a little small (the door did not open completely as the bed was in the way), however for two nights it was alright.
I would definitely use this hotel again.

Amsterdam for three nights
The service was very good. The breakfast was good and served till 10:30-wow! The room was small but comfortable and we were given a small double and a twin instead of the singles we had booked. One room faced the garden to the rear, the other faced the road. The windows did open and the roadside room was quite noisy because of revellers rolling home from the park but the position of the hotel was great: very close to the wonderful Vondelpark and the tram lines. The Museumplatz was only 5 minutes walk away (and most of that time was spent dodging bikes and crossing roads-cars can go through red lights at pedestrian crossings if there appears to be no one on them and you tangle with bikes at your peril!

Location was perfect, thought the room was not as described in the advert or picture!! The room was tiny, you could touch one side of the room to the other if you stretched your arms out. Luckily we were only staying for one night!!

Double room was twin beds pushed together.
Various stains on chair, carpet and wall.
Staff member at check-in seemed uninterested.

Lots of wasted potential
Hotel in a nice part of town, easy to access the museum quarter and city centre. But bathroom had some mould on the shower cubicle, the pillows were awful to sleep on and every time someone walked past the floorboards creaked. Not conducive to a good nights sleep!
