A great hotel
This hotel has now changed its name to the InterContinental which made it a little hard to find, but that really was the only problem. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, I didn't eat dinner as I was quite late, but the breakfast was excellent.

A pristine hotel. Rooms and public spaces very attractive and spacious. You would think a hotel of this standing and star rating could have a pool instead of sending customers to a local fitness club in the pretence that it has facilities that it doesn't have.
If you end up with a room without a city/seaward view, it kind of defeats the purpose of being in such a quality hotel since the other views are over an unattractive rear of empty commercial office space.
The absence of a bar /cafe/ restaurant on top of this hotel is a missed opportunity to allow customers to make the most of panoramic views over Lisbon.

Highly recommended
Nearly perfect, booked on the day; room was faultless, spacious, nicely styled and clean. Customer service was mostly superb and location was good for both city and relaxing walk in park directly opposite.
