Wonderful and relaxing business stay
What more can I say. Would have loved if they had proper coffee available, but that's my only complaint. Perfect for a business stay. Would definitely stay again.
Very central - would book again.
This is by far the best room I've stayed in.
It provides a small living area, wee kitchen spot (including microwave, toaster, cutlery & little food supplies restocked each day), bedroom spot and bathroom. It was more like staying in a studio flat than hotel or B&B, and to top it all the location is extremely central and convenient but incredibly quiet at night. My one complaint is that my girlfriend and I wanted a late check-in (around 11.30pm) and while assured we would be let in after twenty minutes maximum by calling a number, we were eventually assisted about an hour later than that. The guy who arrived was however very apologetic and helpful in getting us our keys and so on. All in all I would highly recommend The Craibstone Suites, perhaps for a romantic long weekend away as it is definitely more of an individual or couple getaway place than for families.
The only disappointment was I couldn't get a VAT receipt until 8 in the morning .
Room was very hot ?it was an attic room and the day was very warm ,no window was open
Very helpful friendly staff on entering from the start could have not been more helpful ..
Very clean and good value for money
Excellent location - central but quiet.
Room was a bit chilly when we arrived (thermostat was at 10 degrees) and shower took a long time to heat up (we were about to call reception but decided to leave it run for a few more minutes which did the trick) but can't fault otherwise - clean & comfortable, well equipped, good wifi and with friendly efficient staff. Ordinarily I'd say £110 per night was a bit steep but, for Aberdeen, the apartment is actually very good value for money and we would stay there again.
Enjoyable short stay
Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Location excellent; in City centre a couple of minutes from Union Street but very peaceful and quiet. Quality of room, fittings etc of the highest standard. However, one word of warning; the room we booked into was one of the attic rooms which was very small. One of the reasons we booked here was to have room with kitchenette (which was excellent), but there was no room for a couple to eat in comfort with no table, and only one small comfy chair and a desk chair in the room. Also the stylish spot lighting could have provided better light, and we were a little surprised to find the best lighting in the wardrobe cupboard. None of this stopped it being a great place for stay, but I do not think we would have been happy to stay in this particular room for longer than a couple of days.
felt like we were in a large cupboard.
small bedroom with no window, small patio door.dining table in same room very strange. no storage for clothes apart from wardrobe nowhere to sit to do hair/makeup. water was cold the evening and morning we left so we could not have a shower had to boil kettle to wash
