Stay at West Lodge
Really good location not only for airport but for getting back into the city centre. Rooms were quiet and reasonably priced with good furniture. Great for an overnight stay and I would certainly use again or recommend.

The hotel was well positioned and the staff were all very efficient and helpful. However, the accommodation needed some improvement, particularly the shower which had extremely low water pressure and the cubicle was very small with nowhere to put shower paraphernalia. The bar food was of a low standard, with far too much food on the plate, which was "swimming" in gravy ! Breakfast was OK but by today`s motel buffet standards rather a poor selection overall. We thought the whole place was dark and a coat of light paint would help improve the atmosphere !

Great budget hotel near Bristol airport
This hotel was good value for money and really convenient for Silver Zone Parking at Bristol Airport, about 12 mins away. It was welcoming and friendly and conveniently situated on the A38.
Plenty of space for car parking.
The room had everything that we needed, including tea and coffee making facilites and soap dispensers for hand washing and bath/shower.
Unfortunately we were woken at 2.30am as a smoke/fire alarm went off which meant standing outside for 20 mins (luckily it was warm and dry) but the hotel did all they could to resolve the problem and apologised without prompting the following morning.
The only other thing was we were expecting to be able to get a continental breakfast bag (as advertised) to take with us in the morning as we were leaving before breakfast which started at 06.30. This service was no longer available. The night porter offered tea/coffee, cereal and toast. He was really pleasant and helpful but it did take up more time than us taking it with us to eat at our leisure. Would use this hotel again as an overnight pre/post flight

Town and country lodge
Hotel was very noisy, could hear people in room next door constantly. Room was dark and dingy.Restaurant food was terrible, even the potatoes had been cooked in a microwave. Front desk staff friendly but restaurant staff weren't. While eating dinner in restaurant we had to put up with the evenings soaps on TV at a loud level- watched avidly by staff! Restaurant food was overpriced and restaurant lacked any kind of ambience, no excuse for such bad inedible food. On a plus side, the hotel is in a good location for early morning flights from the airport.

Easy check in and check out
Typical motel style property with lots of parking a short drive from Bristol airport. A little old fashioned but very clean with all the amenities, hairdryer and iron lots of power points and mirrors. Check in and out was a one minute job, very efficient and friendly.
