Used to be excellent - stayed multiple times things are changing for the worse
The room was clean and spotless, however starting to be tired with scuff marks up the walls, Jury inn offers complimentary shower gels and a 24 hour gym which is excellent and looks like some investment has been taken into it. The Hotel location is excellent right in the centre of derby located by the Cathedral Quarter.
Customer Service- I have had mixed feelings with regards to customer service as the receptionist staff were really polite and efficient nothing was too much trouble. However the hotel seriously let itself down during Breakfast where service was ridiculously slack surrounded by dirty plates and food items running out completely , a lack of staff was evident. Staff were just plain rude no acknowledgement and a general lack of basic manners anything you asked for seemed way too much trouble. Jury inn is a huge hotel so you cant expect 5* luxury but there is no excuse for poor manners and being rude. This stay cost around £48.00 including breakfast.
I would consider alternative accommodation before placing a booking with these again.

...
I cannot wait to come back to Jurys Inn; it was welcoming, with excellent accommodation, friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Not sure about the quality of food because I didn't eat there, excellent value for money. I noticed dust here and there in the room but nothing *too* bad. Will definitely be coming back with my partner to stay, very soon.

Room Type Mix-Up
Very nice hotel in good location.
Rooms well appointed and clean.
Despite booking a twin-room through LateRooms, my colleague and I were given a double room with a couch bed. The hotel were unable to move us to a twin room as booked. I stayed with a colleague the same weekend last year and we were given a double room, having booked a twin. However, the hotel were able to swap the room on that occasion.
I would say this is a very good hotel for the price and I would stay again based on price and location.
