100% would recommend it to a friend
Nice country retreat
Very friendly and helpful owner and I was made to feel very welcome.
I'd certainly be happy to stay here again, although it is quite remote, so may not suit everyone. I didn't have a meal so can't comment on quality of food.
Extremely quiet rural location.
Clean, great attention to detail. Very helpful owned. Virtually impossible to fault in any way.
A very pleasant & enjoyable stay
Great hospitality , great room, idyllic location very highly recommended indeed
Go out of your way to stay here!
Tastefully refurbed recently.
Superb service, heated bathroom floor (what a luxury), a Mira shower that works well, quiet surroundings in the Surrey Hills where the owls call at night, great breakfast and oozing with history and a VAT-inclusive price make this the place to stay. There is no reason to not come back. Worth all the stars awarded by other reviewers.
LOVELY stay, AMAZING setting, KIND host.
Well most definitely come back!
Stopover and try us
Comfortable stopover with a very warm welcome and breakfast to match.
lovely area, nice accommodation we needed room attending a wedding close buy ideal for us
We booked Bulmer Farm very last minute to have a weekend to escape busy London.
Couldn't have asked for a better setting, so pretty and in the heart of the countryside making it easy for local walks. The room was lovely, and a lot nicer than we were expecting. Sue was really helpful and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thankyou for a lovely break.
Lovely and peaceful with a friendly welcome
Our room (No.
2) was quite basic, and not terribly large.
The bed is a standard double, which we found a little cramped as we are more used to a king-size. This was very soft - I liked it but my wife found it gave her back-ache (other rooms may differ). The electric heating was confusing - I never did work out how to make the underfloor heating in the bathroom work to my satisfaction, and it was always a little chilly in there.
The TV suffered from poor reception on BBC, and there was almost no mobile signal on O2 - not the fault of the B&B of course, but the price you pay for being in countryside. Now for the positive things - Sue gave us a warm welcome, and is very friendly. Her breakfast was lovely - good choice of cereals, nice toast, proper home-made style marmalade (non of that horrid Robertsons stuff) and a 'full English' to die for. The surroundings are very peaceful, with only the (copious) bird song to wake us up in the morning. There is a pub round the corner (5 mins walk) which looked like it would do nice food, although we didn't sample that.
So - generally a very nice basic B&B in a quiet location, but only if you like soft beds.
