a good hotel and conveniently placed for museums
The service was excellent and the staff go out of their way to be friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and must compliment the hotel on its calibre of front of house staff and also the breakfast waiter.

stunning hotel, shame about the finer details
This hotel is a truly beautiful place. Walking through the door you are presented with a room every bit as opulent as the chelsea surroundings. It feels like it belongs in the area. Acres of marble floors and pillars and stunning interior design. The room was just as good. We sayed in a standard double room but it was very good, the bathroom was beautiful with marble from ceiling to floor. The service was ok with a friendly welcome.
In the end it was the details of the stay that let it down slightly. The tv in the bedroom had poor quality reception, and the 'keypad' that came with it didn't work. Then, in the evening we tried to go to the bar after dinner (advertised advertised on the web as open til 11pm 7 days a week) we were told it was closed. However there was no sign or any kind of prior notice. Bit of a let down.
Overall, beautiful and befitting the area but need to ficus on the detail a bit.
