Nice hotel, terrible bed
The hotel is a pleasant enough place, friendly staff, modern and relatively clean outside the rooms.
The food is top notch, excellent preparation, and each course superb.
The room was a huge let down. It felt dated even though it was pretty recently decorated. The bed was the worst part of the stay. Totally impossible to sleep on, the mattress offered no lumbar support and was so soft it had the tell tale signs of being in need of replacement. My back was so painful I had to use pillows to support my spine. Very much ruined my stay, a good mattress is essential and on this occasion it was a huge let down.

Excellent value and service
I was very impressed by the great service at this hotel and the facilities were also really good - better than at hotels charging twice the rate and claiming to have 4 or 5 stars.
