Great value for money
Sherwood is a 'real find'; Convenient yet quite location, beautifully kept property, spacious room and bathroom, fluffy towels, good choice of food for breakfast, friendly owners, and all at a very reasonable price for the area.

Fantastic .... Highly Recommended!
Lovely house in a great location with a really good spacious well appointed room, tea making facilities, a decent sized TV and fantastically comfortable bed. Room had the benefit of a en-suite shower room which was modern and clean. Breakfast was a delicious English cooked breakfast washed down with fresh coffee and orange juice. Frances was really helpful and couldn't of been more welcoming. Highly recommended.

Second visit to this lovely B&B
Lovely room on the top floor with stylish bathroom including bath big enough to share in comfort. Main parts of the house nicely decorated for Christmas. Owner Frances very helpful and the pub she recommended, The Greyhound, was also excellent.

Very Comfortable
I have stayed here before on a short break & had no hesitation in booking again when I found I needed to be in the area for business. Was just as good as I remembered. Top quality and very friendly. Will definitely stay again when the opportunity arises.

Sumptuous Indulgence
Access to the house is off a private road to a pair 6ft wrought iron gates; and after confirming your reservation through the two way intercom; the gates are flung open to reveal a sumptuous property. You are greeted by the lady of the house and shown to your room. The rooms are immaculately clean, offering an en-suite, walk in closet, TV & coffee facilities. The whole experience was topped off by the quality of bed and the scent of the linen, providing a great night sleep. Then after devouring the breakfast served from the wedgewood cutlery I was on my way, happy to return for another night of sumptuous indulgence...You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Sherwood...
