Have stayed here before and have never been disappointed, unfortunately i work this area very little otherwise i would stay here every time. Its out in the sticks so nice and quiet but will need to travel to eat out.
Do good food in the restaurant most nights along with a good quality Buffet breakfast.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.
A bit off the beaten track but a superb place to stop at with no fuss or bother. Just clean modern and value for money in fantastic country house setting. Would recommend for anyone wanting a stopover or a longer stay. Worth the effort to find and just what this traveller wanted and needed. Peace and quiet on a stopover without the traffic noise you usually get at the larger brand travel hotel names.

Beautiful grounds average room
The grounds and main house were lovely, however standard room was very basic. Worth the reduced cost paid on late rooms but not worth the full price. The room was quite dusty and made my asthma flare up. Several spiders in the corners and in the bathroom... Also very thin walls, could hear people cough or sneeze in the next room.

Quality !!!
This accommodation was fantastic. It's set in a beautiful peaceful location in the countryside and is still within easy reach of a some bigger cities. It's somewhere to chill out and relax. The grounds and setting are superb. Great value for money.

Fantastic grounds.
Conference centre that lets spare rooms so has a "business" feel to it, but a lovely old house in a superb setting with wonderful huge grounds and incredible value.

Excellent Value
The hotel and annex buildings are set in beautiful grounds surrounded by woodland and lawns with a very tranquil lake.
The rooms are compact but very clean and perfect for the business traveller with free wifi. It is basic accommodation but of a high standard and exceptional good value.
The food was limited, small menu, but was cooked to perfection, albeit after quite a long wait.
I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely place, great staff
I booked this last minute for work and was extremely impressed with the venue. The grounds are stunning, the rooms just perfect for a work stay over and the customer service and welcome was faultless. The only downside is that the venue is a bit in the middle of nowhere so it was a bit of a trek in and out, and as I wasn't expecting to be able to eat out I ate before arriving. There is a bar and I believe you can order an evening meal there too. I often look for venues like this for work and would definately stay here again.
