One word - Perfection!
I booked to stay here for an anniversary celebration with my partner - a decision I will never regret. I had phoned and requested an ice bucket to be in the room when we checked in, and was quizzed as to why (quizzed in a nice way I hasten to add!), and said it was an anniversary. When we checked in, not only was there a big fresh ice bucket, but complimentary chocolates and chocolate dipped strawberries on a platter with 'Happy Anniversary' written in chocolate. We were also given happy anniversary vouchers for a glass each of champagne in the bar.
But don't assume that is why I rate this hotel. The room was large and immaculate - literally looked like it might have been decorated a day earlier. Large and comfortable bed, and the room had a Nespresso machine! The staff were amazing. Polite, knowledgeable and attentive, but never in an overbearing way.
Location is perfect for what we wanted (Kings Road and Hyde Park) but I won't bore you…check out google maps and make your own decisions based on what you want to do!
I can honestly say, this was the best hotel experience I have had. Worth every pound!

Anniversary Break plus shopping!!
Excellent welcome on arrival - hot towels much appreciated after train journey. Superior room was good but smallish although I think this is normal for a London hotel. Christmas party on 2nd night below our bedroom was a little noisey but hotel manager provided complimentary drinks until party finished around midnight; well received. There was also a party on 3rd night and this time we were upgraded to a junior suite. Very impressed with way management dealt with issue. Turn-down service was excellent. Overall a very good hotel in a great location for restaurants and tube station.

We travelled to London for a weekend birthday treat. On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome; a very thoughtful touch was being offered hot towels to freshen up after our journey. The hotel was warm, welcoming, as were the reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We booked a superior double room, which was well appointed, very clean and slightly larger than some of the so-called 5* hotels we have stayed in before whilst in London. Plenty of hanging space, robes, slippers, great shower and lovely toiletries. A nice touch was the hotel-branded umbrella in the wardrobe - a very welcome find!! Loved the Neom candles (they are my favourite!) We didn't eat in the hotel, so cannot comment on the food, however, if the service etc was as good as our overall impression of the hotel, feel sure it will be first class. For us, the location was perfect. We like the area and its a single tube journey from Kings Cross, so that was a bonus! The centre of London is also walkable if you so desire! Its our first experience of the Doyle Group of Hotels and we'd definitely go back - had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time.

Exemplary customer service
The warm reception we received was excellent. The staff were not pushy and simply accommodated our needs. We were upgraded on arrival, and even though we arrived early for check-in this wasn't a problem for the staff. The breakfast (only meal we ate in the hotel) good, although the made to order portions were a touch on the small side, but tasty nonetheless. An excellent hotel with spacious rooms, great staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
