Great Hotel with friendly helpful staff
I booked the Executive Room on an advanced no cancellation rate, and thought to was excellent value for money. Business lounge with free drinks and canapes in a nice restful atmosphere. Large bedroom with king sized bed. Hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance of Museums and Harrods. Had a really enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Thanks to everyone at Holiday Inn.

Refurbishment needed!
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five years and time is starting to take its toll on the rooms and restaurant.staff are really good but even they cannot help when it comes to areas like breakfast and the "traditional" pub, which is really out dated and is more of a diner than pub! I enjoy the location of the hotel and with some care to detail then it can be turned around!

Extra special care :)
We were really spoilt at the Holiday in on Valentine's night. My fiancé mentioned we had got engaged that morning & the lovely lady at reception treated us to a bottle of wine on ice delivered to our room & a delicious two course meal in the hotels superb restaurant free of charge :)
In addition to this the on site parking, the superb breakfast buffet & the great customer service all exceed our expectations - & all at a very reasonable price.

Good value and excellent location
Modern hotel in a very practical location, just a minutes walk from the tube station, two supermarkets and many restaurants. The rooms are big enough to be comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit chilly and turning up the heating didn't make any difference. The bathroom wasn't heated at all so was very chilly before being heated up with steam and had a few mouldy spots in the tile grouting probably as a consequence of the cold. We purposely booked a double bedded room and got a twin. The first receptionist we complained to about this wasn't helpful at all and simply said they were booked out of doubles. The second receptionist was friendly but couldn't help us either and blamed laterooms for not passing on the booking correctly. This was a shame since we chose this hotel for their double beds and it was our anniversary and special birthday weekend away. Not very romantic!

Holiday Inn London - Kensington Forum
I booked this hotel a few months in advance for a weekend break. We were on a budget so had to do the research as London Hotels can be expensive. Also we needed somewhere close to the Royal Albert Hall. So the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum came up as our standard of accommodation. We'll we were not disappointed, the customer service was excellent, rooms were clean with heating, plenty of hot water and toiletries tea & coffee and the breakfast was fabulous plenty of choice from fruit, full English to pancakes. And for the price in the middle of London great value. We would stay at this Hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

Happy hour not so happy
Everything was as good as expected except I arrived at the bar with 10 minutes remaining for happy hour but the Guiness was being changed. Finally got my pint at 1900 and was told that I did not qualify for what turned out to be not so happy hour. When I checked out my bill had a 10% service charge which I declined to pay. Upgrade with my loyalty card so no complaints about the room and breakfast was excellent.

Clean and comfortable, shame about the noisy neighbours!
Very good value and facilities. We were staying overnight before attending a conference in the hotel and it was an ideal choice. Unfortunately, there was a connecting door between the room we had and the next, and soundproofing was very poor - we could hear every word of two men talking (and coughing) - especially annoying at 3 am. Thankfully we had brought earplugs. Soundproofing should be much better these days and it was the one thing that prevented a good night's sleep.

Lovely stop over
Thanks for a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Kensington on our trip to the Royal Albert Hall. Easy to find, super close to the tube station and the room was nice. Hoping to get a room higher up and closer to the 27th floor next time to see the spectacular night view over London.
