May Cottage
The greeting from Sue, the owner was as warm and welcome as the cup of tea. Nothing was too much trouble even to the point of Sue giving us a lift to the garage that my car unexpectedly required. She was knowledgeable about the local area and appropriate activities and the breakfast cooked by Len hearty but not greasy. The room was comfortable and hot water always available.

A wonderful stay at May cottage
We had a fabulous 3 day break at May cottage. From the warm greeting we were given when we arrived. The room was immaculate, the fresh tea and coffee sue made to welcome us was very much appreciated . Sue has a vast wealth of local days out and beautiful views not to be missed . May cottage is perfectly placed to visit lots of tourist places during the day and within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs of a night , and still be quiet enough for a good nights sleep .

Excellent hosts. Made you feel really welcome... Ideal place for exploring the lakes without a car.
Really warm welcome by the host, Sue. Made us feel really welcome and went that extra mile every time. The B&B is in an ideal positioned for parking the car up and not having to use it again until you go home as all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Lovely spot
Sue is one of the most wonderful hostesses that you could hope for. She sent us on a great tour of the lakes on our last day when it was raining and it was spectacular. She is very knowledgable about the area and that is a deffo plus.
