Excellent customer service, large well equipped room, large variety of breakfast choices.
Impressed by high level of customer service, bright cheerful atmosphere and nothing too much trouble for staff.
The room was large and well equipped. Only let-down was damp smelling shower curtain (promptly and cheerfully replaced) non-working standard lamp and very draughty ill-fitting windows. Lighting very dim generally. Decor was fashionable and reasonably clean, but could have been better hoovered etc. Excellent breakfast choices, food very fresh, great staff, and bonus to be able to have gluten free toast.
Great facilities, friendly staff
Rooms are spacious and unlike many hotels I've stayed at, are a nice teperature i.e.
Not roasting hot, which makes for a good sleep. The pool is about 18m which means you can have a decent swim, although some rooms are quite a walk away. Food is good with decent portions. I stay here regularly and plan to return.
The hotel was very clean, our room was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful, we used room service which was very quick and the food was ok but very overpriced, we also used the bar, again the service was very good but the soft drinks were very expensive (£3,10 for a coke).
We had an upgrade which included wifi and parking, but normal charges for these are very high and after returning from a night out on Saturday there were no spaces and we had to park on a kerb right up against a bush. The worst part of our stay was breakfast, which was a great disappointment and not the standard we expected from a Hilton Hotel. We opted for room service and when it arrived there were items missing from the full English, there was no milk or sugar for the coffe, no jams for the toast ( which wasn't toast at all just warm bread that had dried out slightly) and no condiments or sauces etc. very disappointing and glad it was included in our stay otherwise it would have cost around £40 for 2 breakfasts to be served in our room ,!. I did complain to reception on check out and the room service charges were waived. On the whole we had an enjoyable stay and the hotel was as expected, I would recommend the hotel but not the food.
a bit dated
Hilton Birmingham Bromsgrove
Was very disappointed in paying £5 for parking at the hotel that was not made clear during the booking.
Also don't see why a resident would have to pay to park at a hotel your staying at given there are no alternative options.
Given the Hilton name and reputation was also very disappointed at the number of dogs staying, yapping & barking in rooms. I appreciate the Dog show is on however this is meant to be the Hilton not kennels.
It was a nice modern hotel and felt a bit more upmarket than the basic.
Small criticisms were there was only one flannel for three staying in the room but that was quickly rectified when mentioned. The only other issue was a tray with dirty plates was left in the corridor for a long time. Other than that facilities were very good especially the leisure complex. Pity you have to pay £5 to park your car as it isn't a city centre hotel but that isn't unusual these days.
Had a good stay at the Hilton, room was great and all the staff were lovely,I would stay again...
