Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok

We got a free upgrade to a fabulous large room.

Great facilities and would recommend highly.

New years review

We wanted to go to the roof top, however we had to buy a drink package that included a 2 hour open bar to go to the revolving roof top.

I was feeling sick and didn't really want the package but was forced to get the expensive package in order to get up there. Alot of the appetizers were cold. Would have been nice if the food had warmers

Nice Location

A fairly comfortable stay in the hotel which is near to the famous Platinum Mall.

Shambles of a hotel!

This place is a disaster from start to finish.

Hotel guests need to use the same lift as tourists going to visit the viewing deck. This gets annoying when you have to wait over 20 minutes for a lift that has space for you. I spent more time waiting for lists than anything else during my stay. The staff are generally poor, with no idea of what good service is.

Food from the restaurant was average at best. The decor in the top floor is terrible. What could be a lovely bar with amazing view is tacky, painted like a child's bedroom with a solar system theme complete with paper planets hanging from the ceiling and neon lit chairs. To top it off the waitress was wearing an astronaut costume!. She looked like some kind of kids party entertainer.

The wifi was totally over priced and should be free as it was in all the budget hostels I ad been staying in in Cambodia. The pool was painted with a horrid pink colour that was peeling and there was a dirty babies nappy lying beside the sun lounger, a member of staff walked by twice and never removed it.

The view is good but it's so not worth putting yourself through. NEVER again will I stay here.
