Theatre stay

Myself and my friend went to see a show at the Alexandra Theatre and found this hotel a great location for getting to and from the theatre and also the Mailbox.

It is also ideally located next to the station.

The hotel was being renovated when we stayed - no bar or proper dining room.

The staff were clearly having a difficult time trying to work in the conditions. But not easy to relax.

Visited Brum for a James concert .

Chose hotel because of excellent central location near station & NIA . Arrived at hotel early but room was ready & was allowed to check in .Good sized clean room & the breakfast was top notch ( always check for breakfast deals) .WILL USE AGAIN .

Ok experience

Booked the hotel for a mini break for me and my partner.

We we not very happy with the room. We were in the first room and all we could hear at night was the lift. This became very annoying. Also we was not aware that the hotel was being done up, so we could not sit and relax in the bar,.

One night stay...

Hotel was generally good - looks a mess from the outside due to the refurb but inside is fine.

Building work ongoing and so dining area very cramped and chaotic but staff very courteous and attentive.

Price of snack foods

The only thing that disappointed me was the price of a sandwich and the cost of room service.

2 cheese and onion sandwiches and a pint of lager all in with room service £17.50.
