parade park review
The hotel is ideally located near the town centre, and by far the cheapest of any nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. As with most of the local hotels there is no on site parking so if you stay there take plenty of change for the public car park, there is acard reader on the meter bt it doesnt work.

OK, but thats about as far as it goes
Booked in for new years eve, phoned up and was told I could check in early, (great!) and Carly they very helpful receptionist told me where I could park and was generally very helpful, the hotel on the outside seemed nice enough and the interior although dated was reasonable, the hotel has a bar practically inside it (lambretta bar I think) and noise levels were high on the 3rd floor where our room was, not that this was an issue as it was new years. the room itself was ok, clean but very dated, with paint flaking from skirting boards and around windows, the bathroom was tiny and the sink was actually in the bedroom which I thought was a little cheap and made it feel more like a bedsit! the toilet didnt flush properly and required a lot of fiddling to do so and the "Free wifi" was non existant, it worked to a fashion but was slower than any other connection I have ever used before, (wasnt just my laptop I tried it on my phone and my girlfriends phone). The lighting in the room was poor, (very dim) but on the upside the bed was clean and comfortable! would I stay here again, probably not but it wasnt all bad.
