Leeds city centre
Mini break in Leeds City Centre, the hotel was perfect for the town centre. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely and helpful including house keeping who provided us with extra coffee.

Not bad
I thought Hilton Hotels were world class. This didn't live up to their reputation. Great location of hotel, nice room although no mini-bar. Leisure club facilities weren't the cleanest and no biscuits in the bedroom with tea and coffee! Reception staff ok, but not amazing. Car park closed as it was full and the costa coffee was a rip off in the hotel reception area! Would stay in a different hotel next time.

Convenient for the train
Impressed that the reception had by HH card details.
Escalators were out of order and many people had difficulty operating the elevators.
Room was ok. Mattress on bed was orthopedically hard. Walls were thin - could hear "conversation" in the next room.
Didn't eat at the hotel and didn't see many people eating there either.

Lovely stay, couple of minor issues
Booked this hotel as it was around the same price as all the others in Leeds City centre but with the exception that this one has a pool. The pool area was ok, needed a bit of maintenance and has a small pool capacity so you may not get in at busy times. The pool itself was quite nice and warm but the jacuzzi was freezing! The sauna and steam room were small but lovely, the costume dryer was out of order so had wet costumes in our case all weekend. The hotel itself is in a perfect central location, only a 5 minute walk from both the train station and Leeds trinity. The room is a decent size with a nice modern bathroom and complimentary toiletries. Our room had free wifi and a tv with quite a lot of channels. The bed was comfy if a little hard and squeaky but pillow were nice and soft. All in all a good stay but maybe a little pricey, breakfast included would have made it much better value.
