Room smaller than website photo and disappointing for price.
Minimal bathroom condiments. No breakfast tea on room tea tray (had green tea) and had to go and ask for coffee. Very comfortable bed and super shower. Breakfast was adequate but cooked breakfast was greasy and not fresh. Spa was lovely but could do with improved cleanliness.
Poor compared to my stay in your birmingham branch
When we arrived it was late around 11pm and we were both tired there was only one lady on reception serving a lady before us.
we waited around 15 minutes to be served and had reserved an upper deck room. when going to the room we later discovered the lamp switch next to the bed was broken and it wasnt clear u could manually switch them off so the only way we could was to take the key out the slot which meant getting up at night. i couldnt switch the bathroom light on or charge my phone as putting the card in would wake my partner. There also was no starbucks drinks just the cups. When i stayed in a other branch it had hot choc sachets etc and biscuits. And was half the price of what we paid to stay in this branch ....pretty poor.

Very nice hotel with everything you need on site.
Nice hotel with own bar and a separate restaurant.
Plus a very large well equipped gym and pool free to use for hotel guests. although the gym did get very very busy as its open to the public as well it is the best gym attached to a hotel that I have used.

Nice Hotel in a Good Location
Needed somewhere to stay for a few days while my property was being renovated.
Hotel is busy and very adequate for the purpose. Just one niggle is that the room is so inadequately lit that it is very irritating. The wardrobe was in a dark corner and had the most ridiculous small light inside the cupboard. If I had lit a candle it would have been brighter. I had to use a torch to choose my clothes in the morning. The room had at least 6 or 7 light sources table lamps, bedside lamps and two ceiling lights, yet the room was full of dark spaces. However, apart from this niggle the hotel was adequate for the purpose and yes I would stay there again if the circumstances arise.

It was as expected for a chain hotel and for the price.
No problems with the room or the service at all.
The meals in Victory bar were so small the Italian was lovely
