Breakfast was good on Saturday and Sunday but poor on Monday

Not very good value for money

My wife commented that she "had the worse night's sleep in a hotel in her life".

That says it all. The Executive Room was cramped (what are the standard rooms like, I wonder), poorly equipped, not particularly clean and noisy, being above the front of the hotel. A wait for coffee in the lounge at midday was interminable and, in the end, I collected it and delivered it to my guests myself. Overall a poor quality hotel with very little to commend it.

Good hotel

Clean and friendly helpful staff, the pool was nice to unwind and in a very good location.

Nice room

Everything in the room was good: comfy bed, great big mirrors, good bathroom, nice powerful shower.

Everything we needed except no hairdryer ( I'm sure I could have asked for one though but borrowed one from my friend who had brought one).

Does what it says on the tin.

Hotel was comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

The Executive room I booked wasn't particularly fancy in anyway though and the bathroom was small with no ventilation. Perfect if you need somewhere to stay for a night, but starting to get a bit dated now and not necessarily worth £150+ a night in my opinion. For that money I'd find somewhere nicer if I was staying for a longer time. It is clean, functional and comfortable though.
