Comfortable, value accommodation is hard to find but it still on offer at this hotel
Elegant comfy quite rooms, lovely service, tasty fresh breakfast in a beautiful setting, all made staying in this hotel a delightful experience. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and would have no hesitations recommending it to others.

Weekend away
Wow...what a find!! How delightful to meet staff who are knowledgeable about the history of their hotel, and enjoy engaging in conversation! The food was faultless and the wine list more than adequate. We would definitely stay again in this welcoming, quirky hotel.

Great Stay for One Night
Everything was excellent, staff were friendly and the room was great (very old pub with some great features). Food at breakfast was outstanding and would definitely stay again.

Bags of character
Great hotel loads of history and bags of character. Much better than the large and mostly insipid chains!

I loved this Hotel from the moment I arrived. The room was very oldy worldy with
some 21st century additions. I found the room very clean, warm & comfortable.
It also had a very nice atmosphere.
