We stayed here whist working.Nice out of town quiet location. We will return
Small & very basic room.
Poor quality toiletries. Mould in the shower.
Friendly staff. Would stay again.
A lovely hotel, great views and beautiful neighbours (alpacas, geese, ducks, hens and sheep).
We were B&B for 2 nights and it was worth every penny. The staff are a credit to the hotel, always keen to help....with a smile too. About 100 yards up the road there are some Roman ruins and a reconstructed great house. pay a visit. BTW, the food was very good too.
Stay at the Wroxeter hotel
Very nice hotel, staff are multifunctional therefore you may have to wait at reception or the bar etc.
Service in the restaurant could be improved, requested mustard to go with ham asked if I wanted french or english, the mustard never arrived as the waitress had forgotten it. The hotel is situated in a very pleasant spot, minutes away from the remains of a roman city and a local vineyard who sell a good range of wines produced in the vineyard.
Such a shame!
We stayed for one night in this lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings.
The staff at reception were friendly and helpful and our room was large with a view out to the hills. Unfortunately all the positives were overshadowed by the dreadful service and sub standard food in the restaurant that evening and for breakfast the following morning. With a catalogue of errors too long to list we wouldn't return and would advise if staying to go elsewhere to eat.
Room just right and enjoyed dinner here too
The room was reasonably small, but nicely decorated and had everything I needed - and there were plenty of cupboards and drawers to put things away had I been staying for more than one night.
The bed was comfortable - I slept really well - and the shower was easy to use and nice and warm. I ate dinner at the hotel and enjoyed my food, and appreciated the location in a large glass sided room.
Definitely far from the madding crowd - you would not want to visit if you are after the night life, unless you want to do a bit of owl tracking.
However, I loved the peace and tranquillity of idly flopping on my bed listening to the cricket whilst occasionally reading book. The food, both breakfast and dinner, exceeded expectations and no complaints about the service and staff.
This is good if you want a quiet retreat but not if you want to do some visiting as its in the middle of nowhere.
