Only complaint was the disabled car bays.
We couldn't get one as they were either blocked by beer barrels or used by vehicles not displaying a disabled badge. Made my feelings known to reception but nothing was done about it.
Great room - breakfast not so good!
Room great value for money.
Hotel easy to find (thanks to lots of signs once off M4). Really quiet. Lovely, helpful Reception Staff and Restaurant Staff. Some confusion over payment of breakfast - automated Bill after booking suggested breakfast prepaid as room, but told not paid for on checking out. Sadly breakfast (full cooked) not nice at all - mushrooms flavourless, bacon terribly fatty and salty, sausage undercooked; should have sent it back and asked for continental breakfast instead but hungry and on my way to a meeting. Would stay again but give cooked breakfast a miss.
Will definitely consider for future visits
Accommodation is simple but comfortable - all you need for the occasional night or two.
The bed - always a concern when staying away from home - was great. A good night's sleep was had by both of us. Although we didn't use the restaurant or bar, other users seemed to be enjoying themselves and the was a good atmosphere in the social areas.
Worth spending more to stay somewhere else
Room was simple but had everything we needed, bed comfortable.
Evening meal in restaurant very good and reasonably priced.
Hotel a little hard to find but was clean and tidy.
Done redecoration and touching up needed.
But staff friendly and helpful.
Did have to change rooms as booked double and given a twin.
Not near city centre of that's what your after but quite quiet!
Good budget hotel
Overall the experience was very good.
Food good, bed very comfortable but you get what you pay for and did not expect luxury accommodation. However the height of the hanging rail in the bedroom was very high(for me) as was the height of the bath to step into with no grab rail to hang on to. Not everyone is tall and for someone who is not disabled but has short legs with a bit of a back problem getting into the bath was not easy. Given that the bath was not a standard length anyway surely just a large shower tray would be more appropriate.
Problems with card payment.
This is the third time at this hotel and we have had the same problem each time. There card machine declines our maestro card each time meaning we have to go get cash from the nearest cash machine....using the same card....we use the card at other campanile hotels with no problems.
Very clean room.
Would have liked a wardrobe
