Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable.
Stayed at The Swan overnight when I was attending an event locally with a colleague.
The rooms are dated but spacious, clean and comfortable. Free wifi was welcome as was the plentiful tea and coffee supplies and good-sized flatscreen TV.
Parking straight outside the room was useful as we had a car laden with a lot of expensive equipment.
We had a pleasant meal and can't commend the staff highly enough in the bar and restaurant. The food was not inexpensive but it was enjoyable.
Breakfast was adequate if not elaborate. Again service was very friendly and helpful. Better quality coffee and juice would have been nice.
For the price we paid I would recommend The Swan.

Excellent stay
An excellent find. Officially a pub with B &B, but a hotel in all but name. The rooms are large, smart and very clean. The welcome was warm and genuine. The evening meal in the restaurant was of high quality, if a little slow to arrive. The B & B price includes continental breakfast only: full English breakfast is an extra £5. Thoroughly recommended; I'd gladly stay again.

Family Funeral visit
We needed somewhere to stay near Blythe at short notice. My Brother and I travelled up to the area to attend a family funeral. It was a quiet Monday night and after a 6 hour Journey from Bristol / Swindon it was really nice to arrive at the Swan. We stayed 2 nights and the owners were very attentive, the rooms clean and spacious, good selection of food and real ales. Accommodation and Food were also good value for money. Will definitely be having the pan seared prawns with pancetta and chilli sauce if we ever visit the area again!

Excellent accomodation for the weary traveller
I booked to stay for 1 night and the hostess Kirsty could not have been more helpful. Will certainly use again when visiting the grandchildren and I would heartily recommend to others. The bedrooms were of an excellent quality and very comfortable. Swe only had the continental breakfast (included in the price) however we were offered the choice of light or full english breakfast. We even forgot a charging leax which Kirsty is arranging to forward on to us. All in all, a very pleasantt expeience.
