Holiday Inn Express SLOUGH

Accommodation is next to Slough Railway Station.

Being on 6th floor we were not affected by noise, etc. Parking is limited and could prove a problem for late arrivers.

Weekend break

Excellent location next to Slough station and easy access to London .

Cold

The room was cold and noisy.

I could hear clearly somewhat unpleasant motions from next door.

But the main thing was it was cold. I woke up and looked for a blanket and had to take the twin bed duvet as I couldn't find any.

The plus side was the wifi was fast and the breakfast ok.

Not the best.

A bit of a shambles

I never leave reviews or anything like that, but this place is hopeless.

They couldn't find my reservation, even although I had the confirmation with me. The car park is tiny and fills up too quickly. The catering staff ( who took my order) were hopeless. They couldn't work the till/computer. I gave them my order verbally but couldn't put the order in to the machine. They then asked me to come back and pay later but actually came to my table during my starter and asked for the payment now, because they had finally worked out how to use the machine. I had to leave the table after my starter( as i instisted on finishing it first) and pay for my meal. A bit OTT and unnecessary. Training requirement.
