Value for money
It was a lovely stay. Totally value for money.
Few minor issues
1. Heater not adequate or was switched off with timer.
2. We could not switch on the tv
3. Had problem locking while checking out.
Overall good experience.

Great hotel alternative
I stay here with my wife and kids 7&9 when we visit the in laws every couple of months, and can't recommend it enough. The place is clean, comfortable, spacious and cheap. Its not the Ritz but for £50 a night for 4 including a kitchen and garden its unbeatable in Newcastle and believe me we've stayed at a few round about there . Kids love it too - top marks!

When we first arrived at the premises it was bitterly cold, so the first thing we tried to do was get some heating on, therefore attempted to turn the boiler on. However, it was not working even after following all the steps provided in the email upon the boiler itself. I rang the mobile number provided and someone came out to help us. The man tried to fix the boiler by banging on it but to no avail, therefore we had to wait quite a while for him get in touch to try and find a solution. Thankfully, he came back about half an hour later and managed to sort out the boiler, as by this time we had been in the freezing cold for at least two hours, not knowing whether we would even be able to stay in the bungalow never mind start to get unpacked and settled. Even though the boiler was working and the heating was on at its fullest, the place just didnt seem to warm up at all, so much so that we had to sleep fully clothed. The damage that we found included a huge crack underneath the windowsill in the living room, there was a hole in the bath, there was black marks on the blinds in the bedroom and also unfinished decorating. The property didn't seem to have been cleaned very well, as there was a lot of dust and thick fluff on many surfaces. Once we arrived back home and contacted the owner he was not at all helpful and basically said there was nothing he could do.

Unfortunately it was way below zero in Newcastle on both nights of the stay but we topped up the pressure in the boiler within two hours of the guests arrival and it was subsequently tested to a room temperature above 23 degrees C (the bungalow has professionally installed cavity wall and triple layer loft insulation). We also showed them the electric heating in the bungalow which is not run by the boiler. We confirmed with the guest whether everything was ok at the time of our attendance and also again on the second morning to which they agreed it was and we heard nothing further from them. We did everything possible and but are still sorry that the guest did not enjoy their stay with us.

Superb
Came for a night out in Newcastle with a few friends, and had an amazing time. Bungalow was ideal, close to the city, has everything you need, and everyone had a great time. Already looking to book it up again in the summer!
