The hotel was exactly what we wanted a restful quiet discrete stopover on our busy schedule. Our expectations were more than met by the service and quality in the restaurant.

Serendipity !
By a happy chance the place we had wanted to stay was booked,so the Camden Arms was our second choice.
We arrived-weary after a five hour journey and had a lovely welcome, then sat in the pretty garden in the shade with our books and a glass of chilled white wine--bliss!! We had supper in the garden-while a band played on the village green opposite the pub. Peter had the lobster bisque with rouille and I had whitebait. We followed this with a generous sharing platter of several different sorts of smoked fish, prawns, and a crisp salad..We were stunned at the quality of the furnishings in our bedroom-and the sparkling cleanliness.after a superb night's sleep we went down to a sumptuous and piping hot breakfast. This is not just accommodation--it's a destination!

Would recommend
I judge a place by saying would I have my family and friends stay if I we're having a large celebration and get together and couldn't put them all up and the answer would be yes.
The hotel has good off road parking that is properly lit and also has CCTV.
Free Wi-Fi with good speed in my room (3)
The room I was in had it's own electric wall heater so I could control the room temperature.
The continental breakfast of cereals and french croissants are more then adequate and I was also offered poached or scrambled egg on toast, let's face it we don't always need a full cocked breakfast but if you need that extra fuel or treat for the day you can pay extra and I would imagine going of everything else you'd get the full works.
Last thing, the smell and the look of the food when I arrived was amazing and If I hadn't eaten on the road before arriving, would definitely have ordered something, so if not to stay would like to go back just to try the food.
