Excellent Value for Money
I arrived late afternoon on a Friday for an overnight stay. The single room overlooked the car park and there were some noisy guests on the Terrace around 11pm, but they didn't stay too long. A coach party arrived about midnight and made some noise settling in - but that's what the hotel is for. The room was clean and comfortable. The sauna and steam room was really great! Only me using it at around 6 in the evening. I don't understand why more people don't take advantage of this - it's a great way to unwind. The staff were all polite and helpful. I had a meal in the bar in the evening too which was good and the breakfast the following morning which was excellent. Overall I can't fault it as a place to break a long journey.

Nice hotel
Booked room on a late deal therefore cheaper than normal. Friendly staff at reception, nice clean big rooms. Would benefit from having info (ie prices) on breakfast in the rooms as the price of breakfast was a little steep for us and it would have saved us going to the restaurant to find out, however the waiter did tell us the price when we arrived at the restaurant which was appreciated so we headed elsewhere.

One night working stopover
Decent quality hotel, lacks character, but then,it is a good hotel. My one night stay was quiet and comfortable (spiced up slightly by a bus full of geordy pensioners lol ) My only negative criticism was that the booking price of £39. soon turned out to be £50.with the addition of breakfast! Add to that, the price of a pint in the hotel bar at £3.85 it all works out at a bit more than you were first led to believe, but that`s the way of things these days. All in all,it was a good place to stay.

Nice clean hotel with pleasant staff, can't see why anyone would have a problem here and would recommend to all.
