Given a check in time of 2pm but not allowed into room until 2:40pm as not ready.
Basic clean room, one of the beds mobile like a hammock. Slept well but woken early by kitchen deliveries under window. Turned away from breakfast 'no tables' but only for a few minutes. Evidently not enough staff was the issue. Breakfast serve yourself but food ok. Hotel stuck in early 90's decorative time warp. Overall average hotel expensive compared to other basic options like premier inn etc.
Our stay in Coventry was due to a bereavement in the family and we wanted a little bit of quiet time.
The staff could not have been more helpful.
The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable.
Ideal for a quick stop off of travelling to the area or beyond.
Quality Hotel Coventry
Ok for a 1 night stay.
In need of TLC
Very tired bedroom and worse shower room.
Whisper Pink toilet and shower tray, white toilet seat, basin and pedestal, shower valve very stiff to operate, cheap corner entry shower cubicle which leaked onto the floor under the frame. Apparently the rooms are being refurbished in that part of the hotel, certainly they are in need of it. Quality but not as we know it. However you pay for what you get and I appreciate I could have paid more to go to hotel across the road. The breakfast was okay.
Good value for money, staff helpful.
Only ate once at hotel but found it very enjoyable
Very tired looking hotel.
Room (10), bathroom was awful, tile paint coming off tiles, shower cubicle needs ripping out and replacing, grouting and sealant stained/dirty.
Quality Hotel Coventry
Stayed one night and had no complaints.
Room is a bit dated. But for the price it was a good deal for a quick stopover.
Nice Hotel but too hot
A nice hotel in a good location for the NEC, food was good and bar comfortable, we would have stayed here again but found the hotel bedrooms were just too hot with heating on full blast all night long.
We also probably paid over the odds per room as other guests were paying £65 per room per night but we were charged £98 per room, at this price breakfast should also be included but wasn't.
We booked a one night stay that morning and arrived in the evening.
Staff were helpful and polite. The room was pleasantly clean and the bed quite comfortable. The only thing we could complain about would be the heating in the room was on full so when we arrived we had to open the windows to it down a little an turn the heating off. But if this is all we could complain about then we cant complain at all!. We enjoyed our stay most definitely.
