Just What we Needed - and Great for Coeliacs!
Sebstians is described as a 'Restaurant with Rooms' but that does not really do it justice.
From the warm welcome on arrival through to the delicious breakfast the following morning we could not have asked for more.
The dinner was simply superb. My wife is coeliac, so she has to avoid gluten and Sebastians could not have been more accommodating. From the canapés through to dessert a well thought out menu was provided, complete with fresh homemade gluten-free bread. After a very comfortable night's sleep we enjoyed a breakfast of an equally high standard with plenty of choice and high quality ingredients. If you are in the area, do give Sebastians a try - based on our experience, we would certainly stay again!
A Great Place!
Very welcoming hosts.
Secure parking. Quirky old buildings but modern facilities. Great attention to detail in welcome tray/tea/coffee products and bathroom toiletries. Probably the nicest full English breakfast I've had in a long time in a hotel.
This is my second stay at Sebastian's.
It is conveniently located in Central Oswestry, The location is quiet at night and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Lovely Place Complete with Oak Beams
I stayed for one night while I was working in the area.
The staff were very friendly. I had a huge room on 2 levels with bathroom downstairs, which was more like a suite, with single occupancy. Everything was great, except I couldn't get any hot water in the evening for the Jacuzzi bath which was a shame so had to wait until the morning. Lovely porridge for breakfast made with cream and Drambuie. The food didn't seem very french but was nice enough. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and had the midweek 'market special' which was £22 for 3 courses. The other menu was very expensive at more than £40 for the set menu with no options to choose just one or two courses. Would stay again if in the area.
Lovely friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful.
Room on main road but no traffic noise heard in room. Booked last minute and found a gem. Couldn't get Wi-Fi connection in room, didn't ask for help because it was nice to be contactless. :)
excellent customer service, beautiful accommodation
was warmly welcomed, lovely little place to stay
Lovely accommodation set in the centre of town.
This is my fourth visit. Rooms are quaint and individual, tastefully decorated and immaculately tidy. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Food quality is excellent.
