The quality was rubbish.
Did not look appealing at all for the price paid (£52 for 1 night). But staff were nice and gave refund.
Windows over the road were so filthy that one could not see out.
It has been mentioned to the management by the room steward as others have complained but nothing has been done probably due to the difficulty of access but it should be addressed.
book early if your going a gig in coventry, good basic room
Reception staff very polite, no task an object. Bar staff very helpful and well spoken, not blunt.
My Fiance and I stayed 1 night and checked out and decided to stay the second night.
Room clean all bathroom facilities were spotless. Bed extremely comfy. Extra towels when requested was done almost instantly, and extra pillows. All staff including security couldn't assist you enough, especially as I have myself a severe back problem and awaiting an operation. We have recently moved to the West Midlands and are considering our wedding reception here. Many thanks to all staff, from reading previous reviews so many guests have done nothing but complain. We can't. x
Reception is very rude and not organised.
Apart from that what I expect from a Britannia pretty basic cheap accommodation
You get what you pay for
Hotel was cheap and was what I expected, just as run down on the inside as the outside.
Room was clean. Receptionist was quite blunt and unhelpful.
Ok I guess
Not bad for the price
Fair and convienient
I stayed at the Britannia hotel with my daughter for 1 night ,as she had an interview at Coventry university early next morning , check in was quick and couldn't fault the reception staff , the hotel is looking a little tired in places ,our room looked to have a new carpet which was lovely but the remainder could have done with an upgrade as furniture and decor looking well used and dated , but on the whole the room was clean and served its purpose , didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food or prices , in comparison to premier inn or travelodge it's overpriced as they do have updated modern rooms nowadays , but the location of this hotel makes up for it as it is literally in the city centre , a bit noisey at times as expected so close to city centre so can't be helped , car parking opposite cost me £10 for 24 hours , a bit steep .
I would stay here again if I wanted a city centre location .
Very clean and good value for money
Tired, dated and old fashioned
Hotel is very dated and tired looking.
Bedroom was spacious, clean and warm however and the beds were comfy. Bentley's restaurant where breakfast was served was cold and old fashioned. Buffet breakfast ok but no service; staff stood chatting. Reception staff very helpful and courteous. Good location for city centre.
