Ideally located in one of London`s most lively areas midway between the financial district and the West End close to the theatre district and places of interest such as the British Museum. Excellent transport links with the whole of central London and England. Comfortable and convinient hotel with a friendly atmosphere and traditionalist in style.
Bloomsbury Kitchen and Bar is the latest edition to the Bloomsbury Park hotel. The stylish but relaxed restaurant is a fabulous feature of the hotel. The stylish bar offers a great selection of local and international wine and beer. The restaurant serves contemporary modern cuisine which is served for breakfast lunch and dinner. lovely rooms and friendly staff but locked out when came back late
The room was lovely and clean and well maintained. The bed as lovely and comfy and I had an execllent nights sleep. However I did have one bad experience while staying there - I had booked there so I could go out to the bars and night clubs nearby, but when i got back at 1am on a saturday night I found that the front doors of the hotel were locked. There was no electronic security swipe card entry system and no notice telling customers what to do. There was a door bell whcih I had to ring several times before someone came to answer the door and let me in. In such a central london location I would expect 24 hour reception and a swipe card entry system to be pretty standard stuff these days. Or at least to have a notice up to tell customers what to do when returning late at night. Disappointed in this aspect of my stay, but apart from that the hotel itself was lovely, clean and welcoming

Brilliant Bloomsbury!
Central and convenient, this stylish but unfussy hotel afforded excellent service, where nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, comfortable and plenty spacious enough. An express checkout facilty made departure hassle free. Absolutely great for a short stay!

Great location
...great location for museums/theatres and covent garden but ask for a quiet room as there is no double glazing. The beds are very comfy and the rooms small, staff very friendly but still had breakfast plates in corridor for 18 hours!
But would probably go back with a quieter room

We had a very nice stay, the room was clean and had everything we wanted. The staff were very helpful when asking for directions to various places. The only down fall was the noise, with being in London we expected but didn't affect our stay at all.

Very close to Covent Garden / value for money
We stayed here for one night as we were going to the Cambridge Theatre near Covent Garden to see a show. The room was on the 6th floor and was very clean and great value for money for the proximity to Covent Garden and other attractions.
The bed was very comfy and we had a good nights sleep. Bathroom had a very powerful shower (which was great) but the extractor fan was a bit loud and rickety, until my partner fiddled with it and it was OK. Also, we ordered a couple of drinks to our room at around 10:30pm, but they did not arrive. When we told the reception the next morning, they were extremely apologetic and gave us breakfast for free, which we thought was very good of them.
The only other thing was, you could hear quite a lot of noise from other guests and the road outside, but to be honest we still slept very soundly.

Weekend away
We stayed at the Bloomsbury for Valentine's weekend. It's a great location and was easy for us to access our night out in the West End. The room was compact but this is to be expected of an Edwardian property. The views were great and we were very pleased. We'll definitely book this hotel the next time we stay in London.
