Shopping trip

Hotel was clean and breakfast excellent, only problem window in room open slightly at top and too high to reach to close so there was a bit of a draft.

Night out

Good friendly staff, room was clean, but only problem, room was at front of hotel next to road.

Breakfast almost cold by the time you took it back to eat.

Could be better

Since we hooked way in advance the priice of a room was cheap.

However the breakfast that was included was terrible, everything was dry,too salty or over cooked. So that was disappointing. The bed was a little bit too hard and you only get given one pillow which is far too thin. However I requested more and the staff were happy to bring more. Wouldn't pay more than 60 again for that stay.

lovely big room

Was a lovely hotel.

nice welcome at check in. room was very clean and spacious. the let down about the room the television signal was terrible only had 1 or 2 channels that worked and didn't just go off. I called down and a worker came up looked at the back of the tv said it's just the signal sorry he couldn't do anything but will look into it. Wasn't result I was expecting. No point in him coming up?

Perfectly good for a few nights on business

Very central and surprisingly spacious.

Very close to the bustling central station and did exactly what one would expect. Not lavish - but very functional.

Good accommodation no frills: you get what you pay for

Room warm, good tea, coffee facilities, ironing board and iron.Plenty of room clean and well looked after.

Well equipped bathroom. plenty of clean towels. Main light in room did not work but lamps were fine. Breakfast very good self service. Room quite noisy at night so not a good idea if you are a light sleeper. Staff at book in chaotic, confused and unhelpful. Good internet speed and availability free

Let down by breakfast

Room, facilities very good for price, staff helpful and friendly.

Afraid to say that breakfast was burnt, poor quality, cold and inedible.

Excellent hotel

Didn't have a chance to try out the breakfast in the morning but regardless of that the hotel was beautiful.

Recently done up. Comfortable bed and excellent powerful shower.

Average hotel

Staff on front desk not very friendly, apart from the scottish guy on last day.

Had to ask to change room as the old sash windows rattled and let in an awful noise and draft, so didn't get a lot of sleep first night. Second room better but still needs new windows.Very clean rooms and breakfast was good and a lot more choice than expected. Part of hotel looks modern whilst some looks like it hasn't had anything done to it for a long time, including vacuuming.
